Paul Mejean, Managing Director

Paul Mejean is a Managing Director of Greenwich Technology Advisors. Prior to founding Greenwich Technology Advisors, Mr. Mejean was a Managing Director at SoundView Technology Group and head of that firm's Communications Investment Banking Group. Mr. Mejean has over 25 years of investment banking experience, principally as a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, focused on technology companies. He has structured and executed many types of public and private equity and debt financings in both U.S. and foreign markets and acted as advisor on numerous mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations. Mr. Mejean received an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Kevin Slocum, Managing Director

Kevin Slocum is a Managing Director of Greenwich Technology Advisors. Prior to founding Greenwich Technology Advisors, Mr. Slocum was a Managing Director at SoundView Technology Group Mr. Slocum has more than 20 years of financial industry experience, including institutional equity research sales and analysis. As Head of SoundView Technology Group's Communications Research practice, Mr. Slocum was named to the Wall Street Journal's prestigious "Home Run Hitter" list for two consecutive years. Prior to joining SoundView, he was a technology analyst for Bentley Capital Management. Mr. Slocum received his B.A. in economics from the University of Connecticut.

 

Peter Yu, Ph.D., Principal

Peter Yu is a Principal at Greenwich Technology Advisors. Prior to joining Greenwich Technology Advisors, Dr. Yu was an Associate and Vice President in Photonics Investment Banking at SoundView Technology Group. Dr. Yu came to SoundView after eight years as a systems engineer in the aerospace industry, where he worked on applying optical technologies to satellite communications systems. Dr. Yu received his S.B., S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A., with honors, from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Dennis Gallagher, Ph.D., Vice President 

Dennis Gallagher is a Vice President at Greenwich Technology Advisors.  Prior to joining Greenwich Technology Advisors,  Dr. Gallagher was a Vice President of Equity Research at Schwab SoundView Capital Markets (formerly SoundView Technology Group) where his research coverage included optical networking and component companies.  Prior to SoundView,  Dr. Gallagher spent eight years with Philips Laboratories developing enabling technologies for display,  medical and storage products.  Dr. Gallagher also worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Nanocrystal Imaging Corporation and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.  Dr. Gallagher received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Ceramic Engineering from Rutgers University, his Ph.D. in Materials Science from University of Washington and his M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

 

David M. Mahoney, Vice President 

David Mahoney is a Vice President at Greenwich Technology Advisors.  Prior to joining Greenwich Technology Advisors,  Mr. Mahoney was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Warfield Associates,  a New York City based investment management firm.  Mr. Mahoney’s focus was Software,  IT Services,  Storage and Networking equipment,  Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment.  Prior to Warfield,  Mr. Mahoney was Director of Technology Research and Senior Securities Analyst for The Abernathy Group,  a New York City based investment management firm. His focus there was similar to that at Warfield.  Prior to Abernathy Mr. Mahoney was a Principal in Equity Research at SoundView Technology Group where he founded the firm’s IT Services research practice and headed the Business Applications Group including Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Middleware, Web App Server, Procurement, Marketplace Infrastructure, Logistics, Product Lifecycle Management, and IT Services. Mr. Mahoney received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University.
